The special impact of type 2 diabetes in the Arab World. A major challenge for the 21st century

 Type 2 diabetes and Obesity are  associated diseases and have very high prevalence and incidence in the arabic speaking countries.
Both constitute a very important public health problems in our region and a major challenge for the Public Health Systems this century.
In our participation in the IIMA 10Th World Conference, we had try to draw attention to this problem because of its prevalence, and also of the impact of it´s complications and cost in the quality of life of our population and the future of the next generations.
